Mouhamed Iyad Fakhri, MD
Mouhamed Iyad Fakhri is an internal medicine doctor who is licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina. He graduated from University of Damascus, College of Medicine, and was awarded a degree in medicine in year 1996. He started his training in internal medicine at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, East Carolina University, located in Greenville, North Carolina, and finished in 2003. After his residency, Dr. Fakhri started working in Kinston where he had admitting privileges at Lenoir Hospital in 2004. While in Kinston, Dr. Iyad Fakhri saw disability patients on weekly basis. Shortly after that, he moved to Clinton and opened his own practice. He had admitting privileges at Sampson County Memorial Hospital, and was mainly seeing patients in his office on daily basis. Dr. Iyad Fakhri used to make home visits whenever necessary. He performed different procedures in his clinic. Such procedures included minor surgeries and different joint injections. Dr. Fakhri passed his internal medicine board exam in year 2003. He also passed what is called Post-Licensure Assessment System exams when he went to Drexel University, College of Medicine in November of 2018.
